Our full photographic story about Lara and Fabrizio wedding on Lake Orta in Italy.

Lara and Fabrizio are a wonderful couple form the UK, despite their names look like Italians. Actually Fabrizio has Italian origins because his father is Italian. That’s why they have chosen Italy to get married.

Getting ready

Lara decided to get ready at Hotel San Rocco in one of the lovely suites overlooking the amazing Lake Orta’s view and its precious San Giulio Island.
Lara chose a lace wedding gown, a perfect choice for a romantic Italian wedding. The bridesmaids’ dresses were yellow and Lara wanted yellow roses for her bouquet, enriched with blue hydrangea and white country flowers.
In another room, in the same hotel, Fabrizio got ready too with groomsmen. While getting ready, all the guys drunk beer, of course, like real english men, and Fabrizio met friends at the main square, few steps from the hotel.

Wedding ceremony

Ceremony was planned at Villa Bossi town hall and at the right time Fabrizio and guests reached it by walk. Villa Bossi is literally the very next door Hotel San Rocco.
In the meanwhile Lara got ceremony venue on a rowing boat with her dad, as tradition wants she reached the town hall by water. The ceremony was held in the garden with touching moments during the readings

Orta wedding photographer

After ceremony everybody went to the main piazza where two boats waited for us at the little harbour, one boat just for the newlyweds and Independent Pictures photographer and the other one for guests: prosecco aperitif on boat and a lovely trip is the best thing you can do at Lake Orta!
In the meantime, bride and groom went to San Giulio Island for having some photos along the romantic walk on the Island.

Reception

After bride and groom arrived, they spent some time to taste good prosecco and yummy finger food by the shores with their families and friends.
Bride and groom had time for playing american football with guests, having a lot of fun!
An outdoor dinner was served overlooking the breathtaking sunset on Lake Orta.
After the reception a Dj played for them and the party afterwards was a real success!
